1-[(2-Chlorophenyl)(methylimino)methyl]cyclopentanol-d8 Hydrochloride is an intermediate used in the synthesis of (S)-Ketamine-d6 Hydrochloride (K165312), which is labeled (S)-Ketamine (K165310, HCl salt), which is the more active enantiomer of the NMDA receptor antagonist and anesthetic agent Ketamine (K165300). Also, it is the deuterized form of 1-[(2-Chlorophenyl)(methylimino)methyl]cyclopentanol Hydrochloride (C379760), which has potential use as a component of household cleaning solution products. IT is also an intermediate in the production of the cyclohexanone analogue.
