Applications
Calebin A is a novel natural product of turmeric (Curcuma longa) rhizome that possess various pharmacological properties. Calebin A is a chemotherapeutic agent that suppresses cell growth, invasion and colony formation in colorectal cancer cells (CRC) by the suppression of NF-​κB signaling. Calebin A potentiates the effect of 5-FU and TNF-beta (lymphotoxin alpha) against human colorectal cancer cells and potential role of NF-kappaB.
