VIC azide, 6-isomer is an asymmetric xanthene dye with a terminal azide group that has spectral properties similar to HEX and JOE. VIC azide, 6-isomer can be used to label oligonucleotides for use in real-time PCR. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. Reagent grade, for research use only.
