Cy5 Biotin Azide is a PEG compound with a Cy5 fluorophore coupled to a terminal biotin group. The Cy5 fluorophore is pH independent between pH 4-10. The biotin group is effective at binding proteins such as binding to avidin, streptavidin or neutravidin. The PEG linker improves the water solubility of the compound and mimizes steric hindrance.
